NYC Wedding Photography

Meet Diana Zapata, studio owner and lead photographer at BlueSpark Photography. Her approach to wedding photography more than what you could call trendy is one of romanticism, of high emotional value, of real moments of love and all those moments that make us human’s hearts skip a beat.

“I believe that my passion and dedication are in the right place as a photographer, and I work to offer my clients a set of images that will be timeless, elegant and true.”

Her process is simple and fluid, her clients describe working with her as effortless and a literal walk in the park. She believes in inspiration that comes through romance, a good old jazz record, spending time with her pup and the simple pleasures of life. Her photography is self defined as uncomplicated, unpretentious and honest. She has a soft spot for photographs that evoke real, raw emotion, and will be forever in love with the in-between magic that makes us so human and real.

She has been photographing weddings, elopements and portraits like family sessions and other events for the last 9 years. Started her boutique studio in Miami, Florida and now calls New York City home, although she travels all around the world in search of the next love story to capture through her visual storytelling. She’s photographed weddings in Australia, Greece, Colombia, the Caribbean and around the US as well.  Currently available for a select number of 2019 weddings and booking 2020 weddings in NYC and beyond!“Evidence of a life replete with love is a photographer’s greatest gift” is her favorite quote, and one that encompasses what she’s all about. Giving the gift of memory for a lifetime.
